Kris Jenner celebrates 59th birthday

Kris Jenner was born in San Diego and was bought up alongside her younger sister Karen by her single mother. By 1976 Kris was working as an airline stewardess, and in 1978 she married Robert Kardashian.

The pair had four children together, Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, and Rob, but in 1991 they divorced.

A month later Kris married Bruce Jenner, a former gold medal Olympian, and the two welcomed two daughters, Kendall, and Kylie.

Kris set up her own production company, Jenner Communications, and in 2007 partnered with E! News to create a new reality show based around her family, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The show was a huge success, and is still airing after seven years. It made huge stars out of Kris and her family, and in 2013 Kris hosted her own daytime talk show, Kris. 

Kanye West, her son-in-law, went on the show to reveal to the public the first picture of his daughter with Kim Kardashian.

In 2014 it was announced that Kris and Bruce had filed for divorce after 23 years of marriage, and a year after first separating. "We are living separately and we are much happier this way", the two confirmed in a statement.

"But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

Kris is now rumoured to be dating Corey Gamble, and her daughter Khloe recently opened up on the relationship, saying: "Corey was over last night and he's great. I love him. He's so sweet and my mum is really happy. 

"I like to see her in such a positive, happy state," she added. "It's a good Kris Jenner."
