A major security operation is underway in Danmartin-en-Goele, north-east of Paris, where two suspects in the Charlie Hebdo killings are reported to have taken hostages.
A spokesman for the French Interior Ministry said it was “almost certain” that the hostage taker are Said and Cherif Kouachi, two brothers who are being sought in connection with the Charlie Hedbo attacks.
It is understood that the hostage takers have taken refugee in a printing firm called Creation Tendance Decouverte on an industrial estate in Danmartin-en-Goele.
